On 8 April, GNMI Chairman of the Board and CEO Mr. Su Ertian paid a visit to Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences?with his team. They had an informal discussion with ?Mr. Shi Xun, deputy director of the institute, Mr. Han Jinduo, director of Industrialization Department, and relevant research teams. GNMI executive director and vice president Mr. Zhou Fangchao, Mr. Jin Zengqin, and director of Chesir Synthetic Mica Research Center Mr. Pan Zhixiong were also present.
Mr. Su Ertian visited the exhibition hall and labs of the institute. The two sides had in-depth discussions and exchanges about artificial-crystal-related research trends, sci-tech innovation, result commercialization and future cooperation.
Deputy director Shi Xun talked about the history, industrial background, talent team, research core and research platform construction of Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He said that the institute is committed to material science research, innovation and result commercialization related to artificial crystal. He expressed hope for future exchange to learn from and improve both sides, pushing their research and high-quality development to a new height.
Mr. Su said that as an inorganic non-metallic materials research institute combining frontier exploration, hi-tech innovation and application study, Shanghai Institute of Ceramics boasts extraordinary research prowess and a rigorous research attitude. Exchanges with the institute will lay a solid foundation for bilateral cooperation. Mr. Su also expressed his wish for further exchanges and mutual learning in artificial-crystal-related application, innovation and cooperation to jointly drive industrial innovation and growth.
This visit aims to provide strong support for GNMI’s innovation and industrial development by thoroughly learning about frontier technologies and research results in the area of artificial crystal. In the future, GNMI will continue to tap into potentials of artificial crystal and offer a strong pillar for sci-tech innovation and high quality development.
